Colonial Fire Insurance Company Limited was incorporated in 1955 by the late Cyril Lucius Duprey and in 1958 commenced operations in Port of Spain, as a small specialized company of qualified Underwriters to assist customers.
The company’s name was amended in 1968 to Colonial Fire & General Insurance Company Limited (COLFIRE) to allow our highly skilled Underwriters to satisfy all your General Insurance needs in Property, Motor, Liability, Marine and other insurance lines.
