Assist with supervision of the Accounting Assistants in Finance department
Assist in the preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually) for subsidiaries and group
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial reports for filing on stock exchange, including consolidated Financial Statements with Notes and MD&A,
Assist with the preparation of consolidated and intercompany accounts for the group
Assist with the reparation of financial presentations to Board and Management to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary information for the purposes of decision making.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the Annual Budget, prepare Budget Variance reports
Assist with all financial/statutory audits
Prepare fortnightly payroll for operational staff
Assist with Board of Inland Revenue (BIR) audits
Assist with preparation of financial reports and analysis for local Management and BOD
Provide financial advice and input on Contracts, Joint Ventures, Lands, and Legal issues, MSA’s, mergers, acquisitions, joint venture arrangements etc.
Prepare monthly Joint Interest Billing Statements for related parties
Prepare Petroleum Profits Taxation/Corporation Tax Returns, VAT and other statutory returns for filing
Prepare quarterly tax calculations for payment of Green Fund Levy(GFL), Business Levy(BL), Supplemental Petroleum Tax (SPT)
